In the glorious winter sun, the Permaculture group attended their monthly working bee at the Moama Botanic Gardens, where a dedicated team of volunteers gathers every Monday to help maintain the garden and enjoy morning tea together, fostering a sense of community and connection. Our group of gardening gurus have loved building community connections. It’s a great way to be active, meet new people and make a difference at the same time. No prior experience is necessary, just a willingness to learn and grow!

Today was another successful day for Ty’s Kitchen. Utilizing fresh ingredients from the permaculture garden, Ty prepared a beetroot and feta garden salad to accompany the creamy spinach gnocchi. Diners enjoyed lunch outside in the glorious winter sun.

July School Holidays Camp

Teamed up with our friends at Bendigo Discoveries once again to take an awesome crew away on an outback adventure. We love getting the discoveries branches together and seeing friendships develop each trip. It’s amazing to be able to provide a safe, fun and engaging environment where we can explore new places, new activities and with new friends. Building on our independence, social skills and providing respite!

We were lucky enough to have the local put on a disco for the group to dance the night away 🪩🕺💃🏻

Friday was one of those days where you pinch yourself for how lucky we are that we get to do what we love every single day.

This is John who I’m sure most of you would have seen around before- He has been with us for years- one of the OG’s if you will.
John gets around with his sticks ( crutches) or his jazzy gofer normally - however we’re big on an active support model and a big part of that is helping our crew never miss out on the good stuff.

Friday we hit the road and headed off for OUT + ABOUT program to Bendigo, we met up with the Bendigo crew and heading to Bendigo Majorleague for an action packed day.

With the help of two of our staff we had John not only out on the court joining in on the fun but in a BUBBLE for bubble soccer.

It isn’t about what we can’t do, it isn’t about missing out when our friends are all having fun. That isn’t what our company is out.

We celebrate our abilities and we maximise on what we can do - And with a bit of help John had a fantastic time.

Bendigo’s Electric Wonderland!

With the added bonus of getting to see one of their staff up on stage, the crew LOVED it and we love supporting the awesome events our little town has on offer.

🚘 ☀️The sun was shining yesterday, so the team decided it was ideal conditions for an All-In Buggy day!
Many hot laps completed around the farm tracks, a few fishing lines got wet, the speaker pumping some great tunes, followed by burgers cooked on an open fire- yummo!
Loads of dusty smiles, wild hair dos and laughs.

Carolyn Myers Bock Workshop ⭐️

The SH crew was back in their element with the wonderful Carolyn Monday + Tuesday.
We were stoked to welcome a few new faces to the performance group and as always loved to see Carolyn working her magic.

We’re working on something pretty special and hoping to get a few more workshops happening this year. 🤩
