Another great tour. Three very experienced and knowledgeable bird watchers from Melbourne.
They had never seen the South Eastern Redtail black cockatoo before.
I was very happy to see them so excited to have thier first encounter.
Approximately 50 birds content feeding in stringy bark, even a female checking a hollow.
We also saw a pair of White breasted Sea eagles and their nest.
Also a small flock of blue winged parrots.
The best day was had by all.

Had a great day last Saturday for the redtail cockatoo count.
I shared the day with Justin and Venessa. We had some great sightings, totalling approximately 60 Redtails.
Chris Farrell shared these beautiful photos with me, after I gave him the heads up on were to find some.
There is great viewing at the moment, also I can give people some good Brolga photo opportunities.

Had privilege of showing Jodie of Two Wheels around the world , Our tour.
She was trying out her new drone.
Great to have a visit from Jodie. We met a few years ago. Then rode the ‘Ride the Himalayas’ ride in India in ‘23 together.

On Sundays tour we came across these rare Green Mulla Mulla plants in flower. A very unique and unusual sighting.

Another great tour today.

Many highlights they said,
But none more than an Emu and eight very young chicks, wandering down the track in front of us.
