A huge Thankyou to the 4 volunteers that attended the working bee at the cemetery Sunday 30th August. We spent four hours meandering through the monumental & lawn sections in readiness for Fathers Day and beyond. It was a beautiful day identifying our long time community members & ancestors who have passed as well. All are resting in peace.

Information Centre open for business. Eggs, honey, jams, magnets, tea towels, books, plants and much more. Call in from 10-3 pm Friday 21st. August. Open Saturday. 10 till 1 pm.

HAVE YOUR SAY | Help shape the future of water in western Victoria 💧

We encourage community members, landholders, businesses and local organisations to have their say on the Western Region Sustainable Water Strategy. You are invited to join DEECA at an upcoming community drop-in session in Edenhope or Pomonal.

Edenhope Drop-in Session:

🕑 10 am – 12.30 pm
📍 Edenhope and District Community Centre, 76 Elizabeth Street, Edenhope

Pomonal Drop-in Session:
🗓 Wednesday 5 August
🕑 12.30 pm – 3 pm

These informal sessions are a great opportunity to:

✅ Share your local knowledge and experiences
✅ Discuss water challenges and opportunities in your community
✅ Help shape the future management of water in Western Victoria

Edenhope Cemetery Trust advisory Committee are inviting the public, families, students & all interested in tiding up our historic site for Fathers Day, Sunday 6th September .We are looking for a large rock to place a plaque on it to identify all those in unmarked graves. We have 67 so far. For all enquiries contact 0427514140.

Meet special guests including Rodney Anderson, grandson of saddlery owner James Leason, who will be bringing along his rare collection of Table Talk cartoons, along with Su Jamison, Castlemaine author and volunteer guide at Castlemaine Art Gallery.

There will also be the opportunity to purchase Percy Leason: An Artist's Life by Margo Tasca $40. and Bringalbert Bat and Ball by Helen Mulraney-Roll, $25 which includes a rewritten edition of Pioneering Days of Western Victoria—the first book illustrated by Percy Leason.
