NEWCASTLE 500 POSTPONED | Supercars has confirmed the season opener on March 4 will now be held in Sydney, following the decision to postpone the Newcastle 500 to a later date.

Supercars says the decision was made amid concern surrounding the number of COVID-19 cases in Newcastle and the continuing uncertainty the virus is causing in the local community.

Sad news ...
Meat Loaf passed away on Thursday night after falling ill with the Covid virus. He also had a long history of asthma attacks. It is not known if Meat Loaf was vaccinated against the Covid disease but he had previously said he would “rather die” than face lockdown.
