Did you know you can find Stonehenge in Western Australia ? πŸ‘€

Standing on the coast of Western Australia is a full-size replica of the original Stonehenge in the UK, recreated to look as it would have around 1950BC.

Made from 137 pieces of locally quarried Esperance Pink Granite, each stone was sourced less than 1km from where the structure now stands, creating a truly unique connection to the landscape. πŸŒ…

Wander between the towering stones, take in the incredible views over and experience the natural acoustics of this one-of-a-kind structure. From sound journeys to theatre performances, this natural amphitheatre brings a little extra magic to every visit.

✨ Time your visit with a winter or summer solstice event and watch as the ancient alignment comes to life.

Whale, whale, whale… you won’t believe who dropped by Esperance! πŸ‹

A southern right whale and a pod of playful dolphins put on quite the winter show, spotted by @β€Œkingandneap last month. Talk about a splashy surprise! 🌊🐬

From June to October, Esperance offers a front-row seat to the annual whale migration, as southern right whales make their way along Western Australia 's coast. Sheltered bays provide a safe place for mums and calves to rest, feed and perfect their best swimming moves.

And with curious humpbacks and frolicking dolphins often joining the fun, there’s always a chance of a magical ocean encounter.

πŸ“Œ Please remember to give all wildlife plenty of space and observe from a respectful distance, including when flying a drone.
