We are seeking an energetic couple (or two singles) to serve as Camp Hosts on Woody Island! This is a paid opportunity with accommodation and meals provided while on the Island.
The role involves:
👋 Welcoming & liaising with guests
🧼 Cleaning Island facilities
💪 Assisting with transportation of guest luggage to and from ferry
🍽 Preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner for guests
🍻 Serving alcohol at our bar
🏖️ Living on Woody Island, Esperance WA

🦅LIVE & WORK AT WOODY ISLAND 🧰
We are seeking a caretaker for Woody Island with an immediate start until 1st Dec 2026. This is a paid opportunity with accommodation and meals provided while on the Island. We are looking for a fit individual who can work individually and within our Island Team.
The island is currently closed until November.
During the off-season, tasks will include:
🛠️ General Maintenance Duties including light gardening
🛥️ Basic boat operation (Recreational skippers ticket)
🏖️ Living on Woody Island, Esperance WA

Once the Tour season starts in November, additional tasks will be required, including:
🧼 Cleaning Island facilities
💪 Assisting with transportation of guest luggage to and from ferry
🍻 Serving guests at Black Jack’s Bar

This wild weather has us reminiscing a particularly wild summer storm from last season 🌦️ Esperance’s classic four seasons in a day featuring our favourite island activities. From getting soaked down Twiggy’s Landing, while the kids snorkelled, to watching the water rush down the island, then the rain cleared and we did some fishing, kayaking and squeezed in a quick swim before jetting back off to the mainland. 🌞 Whether it’s pouring rain or endless blue skies, Woody Island is always stunning in its rawness 🏝️🦅
