Scenic Rim Farm Shop and Cafe is a lovely spot to break the trip from Brisbane to the Granite Belt. Great food, produce, garden and fashion accessories. Come and see us for our cool evenings and warm days during Summer 🌻🍷🍎

What a find 🥂🌳🍇 An upscale food van .ballandean serving glorious French food at Dear Vincent cellar door. Duck, steak, and the entree was too delicious ☺️ Gin for dessert at Ginyard. Magical day on the Granite Belt.

Thanks for your patience, our last day in Spain was spent at the Palau de la Música Catalana. It was enough just sitting and looking at the ceiling and walls without any concert! It has been a special few weeks exploring a wonderful country 🍑🥂💃🏻 We are now home 💚🪻🥰

Our last weekend in Spain was in the Penedès region, known for cava 🍾🥂 Toured Caves Codorníu, with its fantastic Catalan art nouveau architecture, 30km of tunnels and maybe the oldest winery. Views of Montserrat, our tasting, 2 other caves and the dining room from our accommodation 💚🍇

Spent a few days in Pen*scola (or Meereen for the GOT fans), walked through a Templar castle, met an Antipope, sunrises and sunsets, my second last Sangria and we did put a toe in the Med 🌴⛱️🍷🌅

Stayed in the middle of the gorge at Cuenca, 5 minutes walk across the bridge to the old town, appreciated the art in the hanging houses (now a gallery), saw the best post box ever, some views from the cathedral and , yes, we drove through La Mancha 🍷🌻🍇🍑😊

The minaret near our stay in Granada from which we have been hearing the call to prayer, Isabella and Columbus, and more views of the Alhambra… 🥰

Stayed in the Albaicin, the historic Moorish quarter of Granada near Mirador San Nicolas with its fabulous views of the Alhambra, which I toured the next day. A few images from our apartment and courtyard 🏰🏔️🥃✨

A short Flamenco guitar concert at 7pm in the afternoon 💃🏻🎼 and views from the terrace of Casa Don Bosco. Toured the bull ring (used also for events like operas and an equestrian school) finding that opposition to the spectacle has been around since it began. More views from Ronda, one could be a Van Gogh painting!
