Pony Express is an experimental, Live Art, Anti-disciplinary Think Tank led by Ian Sinclair and Lore Coming soon: Epoch Wars and To A God Unknown.

Through their pandrogynous collaborative process, Pony Express work across platforms of media art, performance, video and transdisciplinary research. Creating immersive alternate realities that reflect themes of adaptation, global weirding and the slow apocalypse. Presenting in a diverse array of traditional and non-traditional venues and cooperating with communities, organisations and subcultures

at the forefront of environmental futures. The duo focus on q***r ecologies and nonhuman politics to build worlds that trouble the ethical landscape of the present day. Current touring and exhibiting works: Ecosexual Bathhouse, Raft of The Medusa and Tentaculum.

Pony Express co-creator is the new Artistic Director of

Bringing her experience as an experimental art showrunner, deep-scale world-builder, multi arts & community curator but most importantly as an artist who champions other creatives’ visions.

Loren will lead the cultural and creative vision of The Unconformity festival and explorations, filling the big boots of founding Artistic Director Travis Tiddy.

Loren will begin her role in October 2024, developing the organisation’s 2025 festival and ongoing cultural programs.

Pony Express are so excited to announce we pivoting from arts raconteurs to real estate entrepreneurs! 🧱 New New Fire Island is a post-immersive, property development mega-project that pitches plans to redevelop Port Adelaide into a hyper-holiday, destination experience for the globalized gay (& gay at heart).

New New Fire Island 🔥🏝️💞💸 takes inspo from a real-life venture-capital funded scheme to gentrify an island community into unfettered, unregulated fabulousness; itself modeled on the historic LGBTQIA+ hotspot Fire Island Pines…but hotter.

Rampant destination development is all the rage. So Pony Express are setting up shop to sell our own slice of sunset to locals. Taking the firebrand form of a timeshare pitch meeting to capture that ‘pink dollar’ for the port.

With our ‘if we build it, they will come’ attitude Pony Express invites you to survey, then buy into the pros, cons & add-ons of designing a utopia.
