Evolution Fishing Charters is a Guided Fishing Tour that specialises in unique methods, with Jigging, Soft Plastics, Live Baiting & Game Fishing their forte. Our Pro Fishermen will engage with you their skills & techniques that are continually evolving. Our Captain "Wh**ey", is a born and bred dinky di West Aussie and has dedicated the last 35 years to enhance his skills in finding and catching demersal and pelagic fish off the West coast of Australia. Over the past 15 years Wh**ey has won numerous major fishing competitions in WA culminating in becoming the 2013 Offshore World Champion Angler, an event held in Costa Rica, the first Australian to hold this prestigious title. Well that’s a wrap, what an incredible 4 day Live Aboard,for “Wet Wipe” Brent, “Electric “ Gerry, The “Cod Father” Liam and “Bumble Bee” Bryan, they left Melbourne in sleeting rain and 5° to fly to Perth and connect straight to Exmouth.
The first 2 days we concentrated on Bill fishing, first fish of the trip was a solid 500lb Blue Marlin followed by a nice Stripe Marlin and then several Black Marlin with the final two Black’s coming off a double hook up, challenging but landed them both.
The follow two days we worked our way from the Ningaloo reef up towards the Eastern Mackerel Islands dropping anchor at Serrurier Island for the last night.
Through out the last two days the lads landed a huge variety of quality fish, Red Emperor, Coral Trout, Robinson Sea Bream, Rankin Cod, Saddle Tail Sea Perch, Black Spot Rock Cod, numerous other reef species and multiple Trevally species. Absolute moments of mayhem with the lads catching in excess of 80 fish.
The last night at Serrurier we had a pod of Dolphins feeding on Gars in the underwater blue lights on the boat, a couple of hours of non stop feeding, something I’ve never witnessed up close and personal before, pretty spectacular.
Lines out on the last day and a Whale Shark pops up next to us, what a send off for the lads. 🏴‍☠️😎🐟🎣
