This is one of the easiest access locations for a (Wattamola) waterfall in National Park. We had some time in the water after hiking to Currocurrong and further.

What's better than a waterfall and waterhole on a nice hot summer day!

Beautiful though short hike from the car to the water falls at this reserve in Katoomba.

Easy hike with some steep steps and little rock scrambling in the end for waterfall and waterhole. Water was super cold as we would expect.

Glow worms tunnel Helensbergh

Glow worms and their reflection in water at the bottom of the tunnel!

Magical to be able to witness this!

We arrived just after 10pm so it was dark and many glow worms were glowing outside the tunnel too.

This tunnel is walking distance from Helensbergh train station, NSW.

Some key points:

-> use rain boots. It's muddy, uneven and slippery in the tunnel
-> use red light
-> keep noise low, so others can enjoy it as well.

My parents took me and one of my friend on that night and my friend was in awe of this amazing view!
