The Lobster Ponds Haven offers a unique experience to view and learn about the Giant Freshwater Crayfish. These extrordinay creatures are the largest crustacean in the world and are exclusive to Northern Tasmania. The viewing room with it's tanks and ponds are displayed within the native gardens, enjoy the peaceful relaxing atmosphere as you learn about these extraordinary creatures. We are located in the quiet farming town of Flowerdale, just 10 minutes drive from Wynyard.

A quick update to let you know the Lobster Ponds Haven will be temporarily closed (May - June 2026) until further notice. We are grateful for your patience and can't wait to welcome you back once we reopen.
