Why no Grazing in 2025?

With rising costs, regional events are doing it tough! Our unique foodie adventure injects over $400,000 into the local economy annually and is now considered a staple event in the major events calendar. For that reason, it's vitally important that we find sustainable pathways to continue hosting Grazing Down the Lachlan. Our passionate team is committed to reviving and refreshing Grazing to deliver a truely event in 2026.

In September 2023, Grazing Down the Lachlan celebrated its fifth year with 550 guests enjoying a showcase of the region's best food, culture, art, entertainment and history 🌿

The fundraising event generated $45,000 for the Forbes Arts Society and injected $400,000 into the local economy!

After careful consideration over the last eight months, Team Grazing has decided not to hold Grazing Down the Lachlan in 2024.

This decision was not made lightly as Grazing remains a very special event for the volunteer committee, and we know many of you look forward to it as a staple event on the Amazing Forbes calendar.

Rest assured, we will continue to work behind the scenes to refresh the event format and bring Grazing Down the Lachlan back in future years.

Thank you to our sponsors, volunteers and community for your continued support of this unique foodie adventure.

See you in 2025!
