Melt Festival is an annual open-access festival of Q***r arts and culture staged across Magandjin/Brisbane, Australia.

It builds on the success of its predecessor Melt, the LGBTQIA+ festival staged annually at Brisbane Powerhouse since 2015.

In a city gearing up to host the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2032, Melt is a showcase of q***r art, artists, allies, icons, sports and ideas.

Melt is guided by the Melt Reference Group, a committee of LGBTQIA+ leaders and artists.

Following its sold‑out, five‑star Australian premiere, Cruise returns to the Seymour Centre from 9–31 October, presented by Fruit Box Theatre and Seymour.

This acclaimed q***r monologue traces four decades of LGBTQIA+ history through the story of Michael Spencer, a man diagnosed with HIV in 1984 and told he has four years to live. Set against the pulse of London’s Soho nightlife, the show moves from euphoria to heartbreak to unexpected survival, performed as a 90‑minute solo monologue shifting between more than twenty characters and over 15,000 words each night. Directed by Fruit Box Theatre Artistic Director Sean Landis, Cruise is an electrifying tribute to q***r community, nightlife and the generation lost to the AIDS crisis.

Joy is coming. And frankly, you should too.

This November!

Feast Festival is back from 1st to the 22nd of November, bringing three glorious weeks of q***r art, big nights out, brilliant stories, questionable decisions and most importantly, Joy.
Think theatre. Comedy. Cabaret. Drag. Film. Art. Tours. Parties. Performances you'll be talking about on the flight home. Whether you like your culture high-brow, low-brow, sparkly, strange or somewhere in between there's a seat, dance floor or patch of grass waiting for you.

And 2026 is shaping up to be a big one.

We've got a major new headliner at Picnic in the Park, an Opening Night Party ready to kick Pridevember off properly and the Adelaide Q***r Film Festival giving you a good reason to spend a few hours in a dark room with strangers.

The full program drops on the 10th of September, so mark your calendar, clear your schedule and get ready to start planning your November. But don't just come for one night. November is a pretty fabulous time to be q***r in Adelaide. Pride March, Picnic in the Park, Feast events popping up across the city and three weeks of LGBTQIASB+ creativity mean you can turn your Feast experience into a full-blown getaway.

So round up the group chat. Book the flights. Extend the annual leave. And make a trip of it.

Even better, Feasters can score 20% off their stay at Hotel Alba, which means more money for shows, cocktails, dinner, dancing and everything you could possibly wish to FEAST your senses on.
Joy is coming. Come find yours.
