"Time"
Time flows like a river, always moving forward. When we try to hold onto it, it slips through our fingers because it's elusive and hard to grasp. We can't capture time because it doesn't exist in the way we think it does. Our basic understanding of time comes from watching the days and years go by. It's this constant change that makes time feel real. Time changes everything, except for a part of us that is always surprised by it.
Purakaunui Falls, located in the Catlins region of New Zealand's South Island, needs no introduction among photographers. Often referred to as 'the most photographed waterfall in New Zealand,' its beauty speaks for itself.
On this occasion, I decided to create a panoramic image consisting of six vertical shots stitched horizontally, with a slightly darker tone than my usual work.

For those interested in the technical details: I used a Canon 5DS R with a Canon 24-70mm lens at f/14, 0.6 seconds, ISO 100, paired with a Haida 0.9 ND filter. Additionally, I employed a 0.9 soft graduated Haida filter to reduce the light from above and a circular polarizing filter to minimize reflections on the wet stones and enhance the saturation of the winter colours that dominated the scene. After basic adjustments in Lightroom, I applied tone enhancements in Photoshop.
