Valentine’s Day Picnic Fare

In this intimate demonstration class, Rosa guides you through dishes suited to picnics, garden gatherings and relaxed summer occasions. With February in the air, there is a quiet nod to romance woven through the menu.

We will enjoy small tastings in a sit-down, picnic-style luncheon. As Rosa cooks, she draws on her Sicilian ancestry, sharing stories that bring her island home to life and infuse the class with a sense of place.

Expect inspiration for effortless summer entertaining and those quietly memorable moments under warm skies.

Bookings for this class will close on the 14th of January.

It has been quite a while since we last met in my kitchen and I have shared my family recipes and food stories with you all. Once again, the year seems to have flown by with my return to the classroom and other significant events such as our recent culinary tour to Sicily and our twins turning 21! Did I just say that, 21 years? Michael, the girls and I have dearly missed our evening cooking demonstrations and opening our home to you all. There will be so much to tell you all next time we gather at our table which I am pleased to say will be on Wednesday 17th December.

As the year draws to a close, I warmly invite you all to attend a Christmas cooking demonstration in our home where I will share recipes that my Nonna and Mother Pina nourished us with as we would gather at our festive table. Their cooking was always the heart of our celebrations, and the memory of their food, love and dedication to family will forever leave an imprint on our hearts. Dm me to book or head to my website in my profile to register a booking!

Day 4 of the sees us in Ortigia, wandering through the market, picturesque alleyways and streets. Lunch, gelati, cannoli and shopping! Charles needed sunglasses, perfume from for many of our guests, and cannoli for Paolina! Then it was off to my father in law’s village Ferla. A fun night with uncles Pippo, Michele and their families, complete with dinner in the monastery’s piazza and jokes told by uncle Pippo! The afternoon was spent visiting Padre Roberto and the two main churches of Gerla, Michael’s grandparent’s home and chatting with a local as we stroll down Via Garibaldi. Wonderful day!
