Sailing Eco Tours, Private Charters & Twilight Sails departing Fremantle Western Australia to Rottnest Island, Carnac Island and surrounds.

This is Carnac. Rottnest’s little cousin, and Perth’s best-kept secret. Shallow, crystal clear waters and sea lions await anchored off this A-grade nature reserve. A short sail out from Fremantle, accessible only by boat. Carnac makes the perfect landing place for a chilll day on the water, with less travel time (and swell) to worry about also.
Small group tours operate 1-4 times per month usually on Friday/Sunday (check website for departure dates). We keep it comfortable at 24 guests maximum (legal limit 38).

Note: This is not a Swimming with Sea Lions Tour. Sea Lion colonies are frequently spotted on the beach and in the water. Sightings are not guaranteed. Beach access not permitted.

Our mid-week online saver offers the same beautiful experience — sunset views, a glass of bubbles, shared antipasto, time on the water at sunset — exclusively for your group. Final Call: EOI for Summer Crew 🌊⛵

We're on the hunt for Deckhand/Tour Guides to join the Charter 1 crew this season. If blue water, marine mammals and long summer days sound like your kind of office — we want to hear from you!

It's a hands-on, diverse and exciting role that involves helping dock the vessel, conducting safety briefings, vessel and food preparation, in-water guiding and ensuring every guest has a memorable time.

What we're looking for:
✅ Previous commercial boating experience, ideally marine tourism
✅ 2+ years customer service experience
✅ A genuine love of working and connecting with people of all ages
✅ Marine Biology Studies preferred (or a strong passion & knowledge in this area)
✅ A strong swimmer who is physically fit and comfortable spending long days at sea.
✅ Bronze Medallion, Diving and Lifesaving Quals (highly regarded, not essential)

📆 Availability through Nov-Apr over a 7 day roster is essential. Late Oct/Nov Start (early Dec may also be considered)

Charter 1 is a private sailing catamaran based in Fremantle — purpose-built for WA waters and the kind of day your team will still be talking about in February. Island paradise, professional crew, catering from $39pp*, BYO drinks with no corkage, and team building sorted if you want it.
