The beach house is nestled amongst drooping She-Oaks and at this time of year the male trees burst with tiny orange flowers, while the females show off small reddish tufts. Then the spring breeze takes over, so if you've booked and the wind doesn't ruin the display you are in for a visual treat from nature!

Did you know Freycinet National Park is home to a whole range of marsupials?
Keep an eye out for Bennett’s wallabies, shy Pademelons, and if you're lucky you might glimpse a long-nosed potoroo—one of the most ancient species of its family!

The best time to explore is in the late afternoon or at dusk. But if you are driving, please be extra cautious so we can all keep our wildlife safe.

The kitchen at the beach house has plenty of space for multiple cooks. Our top tip? Plan ahead! The house doesn't have access to many shops and so we recommend a trip to Bicheno or stock up in Hobart or Launceston before arrival.
