MEET THE TEAM MONDAY | Meet Georgia! 💙

Georgia has been working in travel for 4 years, and if there’s one thing she loves, it’s sharing her own travel experiences and destination knowledge to help create incredible trips for her clients.

A few things to know about Georgia:

Top of the bucket list: Vietnam, the Philippines and basically all of Europe! Italy will officially be getting ticked off next year

Favourite trips to book: Destinations she knows and loves! Being able to share first hand knowledge and relive some of her own experiences through her clients’ travels is one of her favourite parts of the job.

Favourite way to travel: A mix of escorted touring and independent travel. After three Contiki trips (and still being friends with people she met along the way!), Georgia loves starting a holiday with a group tour before adding some independent time at the end. The best of both worlds!

Ultimate holiday: Somewhere warm, with a little bit of everything: sightseeing, local culture, history and food, balanced with some pool time or a beach club and cocktail.

What she loves most about being a travel agent: Making people’s travel dreams a reality, sharing in their excitement and hearing their stories when they return. She also loves that travel has introduced her to people from all over the world — knowing there are familiar faces wherever her travels take her makes it even more rewarding.

We’re excited to announce a very special hosted group departure to Kenya & Tanzania in February 2028! 🦁

Jackie will be hosting this incredible small-group journey from 13–26 February 2028, travelling through some of the most spectacular regions of Kenya and Tanzania.

After extensive research and collaboration with our incredible suppliers, Jackie has carefully crafted a circular itinerary showcasing the very best of East Africa, including extended time in the Serengeti during one of the most remarkable times of year.

February marks the wildebeest calving season, when the great herds are on the move and thousands of new animals arrive across the plains. With so much new life comes increased predator activity, creating incredible opportunities to experience nature at its most fascinating.

✈️ TRAVELLING TO EUROPE? 🇪🇺

If you’re travelling on an Australian passport to the Schengen Area, there’s an important update to be aware of regarding the EU Entry/Exit System (EES).

From 6 September 2026, biometric registration is expected to be consistently applied at Schengen external borders. This means eligible travellers may have their passport scanned, facial image captured and fingerprints collected, with entries and exits recorded digitally.

👉 Allow a little extra time at the border, particularly when entering Schengen for the first time, as biometric processing may take longer than the traditional passport stamp.

EES does not change visa requirements and is separate from ETIAS.
