From the Farm to the Dance Floor, by Margie Pye

Currently on exhibition at the Gilgandra Art Gallery, located with in the Coo-ee Heritage & Visitor Information Centre.

This collection brings together two distinct themes that reflect both rural life and moments of celebration. Margie’s sheep and cattle paintings capture the character and warmth that livestock bring to our rural landscape. In contrast, her dance, beach and floral works introduce bold colour and movement, celebrating energy, connection and the lighter side of life.

Together, the exhibition highlights the balance between farm life and the vibrancy of social gatherings; a contrast that is sure to resonate strongly within the Gilgandra Region!

Journey Towards Joy — Now Showing at Gilgandra Art Gallery

Discover Journey Towards Joy, a soulful exhibition by artist Robyn Andrews, featuring stunning landscape panoramas inspired by a lifelong search for light, beauty and moments of joy.

Created in response to life’s contrasts — drought and flood, loss and renewal — Robyn’s watercolours invite us to pause and choose joy: in wide horizons, beaches and sunrises, and in the quiet wonder of small things like a flower, a curled leaf, raindrops, a butterfly.

With a life shaped by travel, farming, teaching and creative practice, Robyn brings decades of 'brush mileage' to this exhibition. Her work reflects a deep connection to place and a belief in art as a pathway to peace, reflection and wellbeing.

UNITY Exhibition — Now Showing at the Gilgandra Art Gallery

Explore Unity, the newest art exhibition bringing colour, creativity and community spirit to the Gilgandra Art Gallery. The café at the Coo-ee Heritage & Visitor Information Centre will be closed until further notice as we say goodbye to Dell, Daniel and the Caffeinity team.

🙏 Thank you to Caffeinity Coffee & Wine Co. for being part of the Centre over the past two years — it’s been wonderful having you here, and we wish you all the best for what’s next.

ℹ We will have an information desk in Miller Street on Saturday to assist our visitors with anything they may need.
Come and say g'day 👋, stay for the Goin' to Gil street parade and then follow us back up to the Gilgandra Coo-ee Heritage & Visitor Information Centre for the kick off of Under The Gums Gilgandra !!
