⚠️ PARK CLOSURE NOTICE – IMPORTANT UPDATE ⚠️

Visitors are advised that Washpool National Park and Gibraltar Range National Park (via Gwydir Highway access) will be closed from 2:00pm Tuesday 5 May to 10:00am Thursday 14 May 2026.

This is due to an emergency pest control program being undertaken by NPWS.

🚫 Closed areas include:
• Mulligan’s Hut Campground & surrounding walks
• Bellbird Campground & surrounding walks
• Coombadjha Campground & surrounding walks
• Gibraltar House
• Dandahra Picnic Area
• Coachwood Picnic Area
• World Heritage Walk

✅ These areas remain OPEN:
• Four Bull Hut & surrounds
• Raspberry Lookout
• Boundary Falls Campground & surrounding walks

⚠️ Penalties apply for non-compliance.
