Thought I would have a crack at putting on the new .au 270deg awning with rear hatch today, but my existing set up has other plans. I’m going up need to do a few modifications to make the brackets work so everything clears and opens properly. That’s a job for Monday in the shade I think. Looking forward to getting it on and having a bit more undercover area for prep and cook ups.

First real outback work for the year, Broken Hill to White Cliffs to a station north of Wilcannia. Finished with a well earned beer great little spot just out of Wilcannia, plenty of space, good facilities, rooms if you don’t want to camp. I can recommend staying here when you are cruising between Cobar and Broken Hill.

Well as usual the Vic High Country had plenty to offer for our last your of the year, from snow and blizzards day 1 to 30deg and swimming in rivers day 3 to mini cyclones on our last night it had it all. Through it all an amazing group just kept smiling and laughing. A big group to finish the year but what a brilliant bunch. Tested our skills tried a few new tracks and had a few beers for Curl at Dargo. Just outstanding.

Flinders Ranges tour station stay number 2 just another of these outstanding Flinders camps, Michele organised a great camp for us not to far from the showers. We had a great time exploring and learning about the station whilst driving Skytrek, so much to see and some good 4wding to finish with. Not to mention an Aussie lunch under a gum tree, sausages and bread (plus some salad). Can’t wait to get back there.

What an amazing last couple of weeks, our Flinders Ranges tour is now finished. A brilliant group of guest all coming back for at least their second tour with us. We have been a bit quiet on the socials lately, it was a great couple of months travelling around the West Coast with the family. Our Flinders tour leaving on Sunday is full, the weather is looking great and the recent rain will have freshened things up.
Our next tour after the Flinders will be an Intro tour in the Vic High Country, this is a great beginners tour, if you are new to camping and 4WDing this is am excellent way to dip your toes in to see if you want to try more. The tour starts and finishes in Mansfield, it will take you past some iconic huts and amazing views, with a little bit of adventure along the way. If you are interested in this tour please head over to the website or contact us to discuss. The tour is suitable for all levels of skills, singles, couples, families pretty much everyone.
