Qantas has launched another Top-up Points sale today with a whopping 50% bonus.

Sounds good. But they still charge too much.

You can often get Qantas Points cheaper through Qantas W**e - and get the w**e too. Other frequent flyer program sales typically offer better value as well.

The one real benefit? Top-up Points are instant. So if you’ve found a high-value reward seat and need points NOW, they can make sense.

Otherwise… keep your money. Or buy the w**e. 🍷

Qantas Hotels: Triple Points is Back!

For the first time in a long time, Triple Points on Qantas Hotels is back earning at least 9 points/$1 spend

How it works:
Earn 9 Qantas Points per A$1 spent.
Qantas Business Rewards: 12 pts/$1 (9 + 3).

Important Details:
🔹 Points credited within 8 weeks of check-out.
🔹 Booking amendments forfeit the bonus points.
🔹 Enter your Qantas Frequent Flyer number when booking.
🔹 Lead traveller name must match your QFF account.

Reminder: Always shop around and compare prices across other booking platforms. Sometimes paying a little more is worth it for the points but sometimes it isn't. Factor in the value of the points to you before booking.

Apple just raised the price of iPads and Macs. 🫣

We’re talking hundreds of dollars on some Mac models.

The new prices are already showing in Apple Stores, but many retailers are still selling existing stock at the old prices.

If you’re planning to buy one soon, there could be a short window to save yourself hundreds before those retailers update their pricing too.

And of course try and take advantage of buying with bonus points gift cards if you can!

Qantas only flies Sydney ↔ Las Vegas seasonally, and we haven’t seen much Business Class reward seat availability on this route since it was announced…

💡 Booking Tip: Don’t assume you need to start in Sydney. If you’re based in Brisbane, Melbourne or another Eastern city, you can often add a domestic Business Class connection onto the same booking for no extra Qantas Points (subject to availability).

A heads up that Qantas has launched a new promo offering 20% off Domestic Economy Classic Reward Seats. There might be some decent value here on routes with high cash prices.

🔷 Book by: 25 May 2026
🔷 Travel dates: 1 June 2026 – 9 May 2027
🔷 Applies to eligible Qantas/QF domestic Economy Classic Reward flights only
🔷 The discount applies automatically when booking eligible Classic Reward Seats (not Classic Plus)

Example:
Brisbane → Sydney is currently pricing at 7,400 Qantas Points instead of the usual 9,200 points.
