🎣 An Absolute Honour with Somerset College! 🌊✨
It was a true privilege to host the brilliant students from Somerset College for a recent September charter! What an incredible group of young anglers—the girls showed fantastic teamwork, enthusiasm, and serious skills on the water, landing a beautiful longtail tuna alongside a stellar haul of fresh fish.
Blue skies, calm seas, and constant bends in the rods made for an unforgettable day out on the Gold Coast. We love supporting hands-on outdoor learning, leadership, and adventure with local schools!

What a cracking day out on the water with Anton and Olga for their private charter aboard Wild Thing Fishing Charters! 🛥️🎣
The conditions out off the Gold Coast were absolute magic, and the fish certainly came to play. Both Anton and Olga hooked into some absolute quality Amberjack, putting up fantastic battles and landing some serious muscle! 💪🏆
Nothing beats having the boat to yourselves, perfect blue skies, and bent rods all day long. Huge thanks to Anton and Olga for being such legends on the water—it was a privilege showing you both a proper Gold Coast fishing adventure!

🎣 JULY ON THE WATER WITH WILD THING! 🎣

What a cracking day out on the water! July certainly delivered for this charter, with the crew putting together an impressive haul and plenty of smiles along the way. 🤙

The highlight of the day was this absolute cracker of a tuskfish — what a fish! 💥🐟 A few photos simply don’t do justice to the size, colour and power of these fish when you see them up close.

And it wasn’t just one or two fish either… the esky was stacked! 🔥 The crew boated a fantastic mixed bag of quality reef fish, including tuskies, snapper and plenty more, making for one seriously successful July charter.

There’s something pretty special about spending a day on the water, chasing quality fish and coming home with a feed for the family. 🌊☀️
