🎣 Last Sunday’s Charter – Plenty of Fish & Plenty of Laughs! 🎣

The longtail tuna are here in numbers, and Sunday’s crew enjoyed a day packed with screaming reels, bent rods, and plenty of action! 🔥🐟

The tuna were on the chew, with a fantastic haul of longtails hitting the deck, along with a few bonus species to keep things interesting. A special shout-out to our young angler who landed an absolute cracker and never stopped smiling all day!

What made the trip even more memorable was the nonstop banter between our deckhand and the young fella. The pair kept everyone entertained from the moment we left the dock until we tied back up, with plenty of laughs shared by the whole boat. 😂👏

🎣 Saturday 13th June – The Longtails Have Arrived! 🎣

The winter tuna run is well and truly underway on the Gold Coast, with the longtail tuna finally showing up in good numbers!

Saturday’s charter delivered some fantastic action, with the crew landing 6 quality longtail tuna and boating a solid cobia. Unfortunately, the taxman was working overtime, with another 4 longtails falling victim to the sharks before we could get them to the boat! 🦈😩

Despite the sharks stealing a few, there was no shortage of excitement with screaming drags, hard-fighting fish, and plenty of happy anglers heading back to the dock.

🎣 MONDAY MADNESS ON WILD THING! 🎣

What an unforgettable trip on Monday 1st June aboard Wild Thing Fishing Charters!

The action went from exciting to absolute chaos when we hooked up 6 Cobia and a Striped Tuna all at the same time! 🔥🐟

With rods bent over, reels screaming and anglers battling fish from every corner of the boat, it was all hands on deck. Somehow, through the mayhem, our skipper managed to keep everything under control and incredibly land every single fish! 👏💪

The result? A deck full of quality Cobia, plenty of smiles, and a fishing story that will be talked about for years to come.

These are the days that remind us why we love what we do – great people, great fishing, and those once-in-a-lifetime moments when everything comes together.
