The conditions out off the Gold Coast were absolute magic, and the fish certainly came to play. Both Anton and Olga hooked into some absolute quality Amberjack, putting up fantastic battles and landing some serious muscle! 💪🏆

🎣 JULY ON THE WATER WITH WILD THING! 🎣

What a cracking day out on the water! July certainly delivered for this charter, with the crew putting together an impressive haul and plenty of smiles along the way. 🤙

The highlight of the day was this absolute cracker of a tuskfish — what a fish! 💥🐟 A few photos simply don’t do justice to the size, colour and power of these fish when you see them up close.

And it wasn’t just one or two fish either… the esky was stacked! 🔥 The crew boated a fantastic mixed bag of quality reef fish, including tuskies, snapper and plenty more, making for one seriously successful July charter.

There’s something pretty special about spending a day on the water, chasing quality fish and coming home with a feed for the family. 🌊☀️

🎣 Wild Thing Fishing Charters – Fishing Report | 13th July 🎣

The winter pelagics are well and truly firing on the Gold Coast, and our 13th of July charter was another cracker aboard Wild Thing Fishing Charters!

The crew was treated to plenty of action, with some quality kingfish hitting the deck. These fish didn’t come easy either—powerful runs, screaming drags, and plenty of determined anglers made for an exciting day from start to finish.

The smiles at the dock said it all. Whether it was landing a personal best or simply enjoying a great day on the water with mates, everyone headed home with fantastic memories and a feed of fresh fish.

With the cooler months delivering some outstanding fishing, now is the perfect time to jump aboard. The kingfish are around, the longtail tuna continue to show, and every trip has the potential to produce something special. Winter is a productive season for offshore fishing on the Gold Coast, with pelagic species like kingfish, cobia and longtail tuna commonly active.
