Strata Community Association (Qld) is concerned for the residents of Couran Cove and the complex, broader issues that arise out of the intersection between commmercial interests and those of owners.

Laura Bos, General Manager SCA (QLD) spoke with CH7 Gold Coast yesterday again taking the opportunity to remind viewers that this is not a normal situation in strata.

She also commended the residential bodies corporate communities on the island who came together yesterday and have agreed to positively support each other through this next phase of services being removed.

‘The humanitarian aspects to this dispute are the real tragedy and this is where cool heads must prevail.’

You may or may not have seen the news. Unfortunately the whole resort was turned off at 4.30pm yesterday.
The marina is also blacked off so no boats/jetskis can enter.
We are unsure at this stage when things will return.
Negotiations are happening.
There needs to be some maintainence done to the water system i believe also.
Its a very difficult time for all.
If you have any bookings please contact the person you booked with direct to receive a refund. Please do not contact us, we are not the resort.
Thank you for staying with us in the past. We have had an amazong 6 years at this resort.
