With the weather prediction for this weekend if you have a booking and would like to transfer to another weekend please let us know and we will change it. We are watching this closely and will decide closer to the weekend what our plans are for the Australia Day weekend.

What a start to the year!

We would like to thank those who have reached out to support us though such a difficult time and checked in on us and the campers. We are so grateful no one was injured, although scary we all pulled together.

To the Fire and Rescue crews, your amazing and certainly know your job! We all thank you and your services.

To the campers that we’re here we thank you for your understanding and co-operation and offers of help throughout the morning and the phone calls and messages of support since.

For reference at 5 am the creek was only slightly up, less than 1 foot, no issues. By 5.15, we were at the campground assessing the situation and called rescue. By then the creek was in full flood with a 4 m spike. Between Springbrook and the top of the valley we had over 1 m of rain in less than 12 hours. (We think more like 2 hours)

Please give us some time to sort out the campsites and the damages to our homes, and get water to buildings with running new pipes.

This weekend we are super happy to have an amazing Coffee Van coming to the campsite!!! Saturday morning and Sunday until just before lunch.

Sun is shining, creek is amazing, grass is green and the birds are chirping! What a better way to spend the weekend away from the Christmas crowds! Bookings still available for this weekend!!

Happy birthday to our horses, the ones we have still and the ones we’ve lost, we miss you all so much.

Big shout out to these two, Wally and Ruffles. Ruffles has been with us since the very beginning in 1986!
