Apologizes in the delay for these however do please keep in mind it is 1 person in charge of getting these together and we are all volunteering our time and therefore sometimes there can be delays.

And just like that , the craziness of the competition is all over and we settle back into 'normal' life again ! But WOW what a comp we had!

Once again a massive thank you to all our sponsors, competitors, volunteers and committee members for putting in the effort and making the weekend great !

If you want to weigh fish you need to be at the weigh station at 11am sharp to get in!!

First day of the competition done and dusted ! Not many fish caught however we do have some on the board 🥳

Weigh in station opens again at 9am tomorrow so get out there and try to get yourself some fish !

Reminder that we also have our community market on tomorrow from 8 am and its shaping up to be a good one 👍 so remember to come in, weigh your fish and then head down to support the stall holders that have come out to see us 🥳

Not long now till we kick off the 2025 competition! Have you gotten your tickets yet??

If not dont fear!, we are at the shopping centre in sale near bakers delight waiting for you all to come and grab them !!

If your taking advantage of this beautiful weather however we are selling tickets at the foodworks Golden beach untill 2 and then foodworks themselves also have tickets available for after this time !

So no matter where you are, we have you sorted 😉

What stunning weather we have been having !! What a way to start 2025! We hope everyone is staying hydrated and cool in this weather and saving up all there energy for the 2025 comp which is coming in hot also!

Things behind the scene are warming up also as we gear up to have another cracker of a competition!

We still have plenty of spots left for the market with just over 50 stalls booked in we are always accepting more so please share far and wide !

NOW after many suggestions being made to the committee about the market stall fee we have come to a compromise: it is still COMPLETELY FREE for stall holders to have a stall at the market HOWEVER a donation tin will be available if stall holders want to make a contribution to the Better life for foster kids foundation !! Once again not compulsory but is an option there for those who wish to donate !

Once again Share far and wide and lets have a fantastic carnival again !

ALSO stay tuned for the market day flyer, We have some amazing stalls booked in !

And just like that, the end of the year creeps closer and with that as does the comp ! Ticket selling starts today down at the Golden beach General store from 11am until 2pm. Unfortunately for the moment it is cash only but don't fear, eftpos coming soon !!
