🇪🇺 Dual European Citizens 🇪🇺

The European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) is due to be implemented toward the end of 2026. Once implemented, travellers visiting any of the 30 participating European countries visa-free will need to get an ETIAS travel authorisation. The ETIAS is different to the European Entry/Exit System (EES).

Dual citizens of participating European countries or Ireland will not be eligible for an ETIAS travel authorisation. If you’re a dual citizen, once the system is implemented you will not be able to enter any participating countries using your Australian passport. You will have to enter using the passport from your other country of citizenship.

If you don’t have a passport from your other country of citizenship, apply for one soon. Application wait times in some countries can be very long.

What an incredible weekend at the 2026 OMC in Cairns for our annual conference.

I’m feeling both overwhelmed and incredibly grateful. We are thrilled to announce that Helloworld Travel Goulburn has been awarded NSW/ACT Agency of the Year (Single Store).

This is a tremendous honour, and we share this achievement with every client, friend, family member, and supporter who has been part of our journey. Your trust and loyalty mean the world to us.

I would also like to acknowledge my previous colleagues, whose contributions helped build the strong foundation we have today. To my current colleagues, thank you for your dedication, passion, and teamwork. Together, we will continue to grow, achieve, and make our clients’ travel dreams come true.

For passengers travelling through the Middle East this year, please note that airlines are currently offering flexible rebooking or refunds only for flights departing on or before the following dates:

✈ Etihad Airways – departures on or before 31March26

✈ Qatar Airways – departures on or before 28March26

✈ Emirates – departures on or before 31March26

Passengers travelling within these timeframes have already been contacted with the latest airline updates. For travel after these dates, flights remain confirmed as scheduled. Should you wish to make changes now, standard airline rebooking fees and fare conditions will apply according to your ticket terms.

If you decide to cancel any land arrangements, tours, or cruise components, the usual supplier cancellation policies will also apply.

Please also note that travel insurance policies generally do not cover claims related to acts of war, civil unrest, or government-issued “do not travel” advisories.
