Mitch loves the outdoors, and has worked as a guide and educator for the past 6 years, leading young people and adults on camps and journeys all over the country.

He spends most of his time surfing, mountain biking, climbing and playing guitar. He also loves lounging in a hammock with a good book.

His favourite place is anywhere in the mountains with an epic view, and the calm and intrigue of being in nature is one of his favourite things about the outdoors.

This year he is looking forward to connecting to community, and surfing more.

Megan is a neurological physiotherapist with a strong passion for movement, wellbeing, the outdoors, and helping people reconnect with themselves through meaningful experiences. She loves combining her rehabilitation background with nature-based experiences that help people build confidence, connection, growth, and play.

Megan has a passion for surfing, snowboarding, climbing, hiking and running - alongside music, dance, yoga and spending time by the ocean or with her German Shepherd. She values the outdoors for its ability to help people feel grounded, present and connected, while creating a sense of freedom and play.

Alongside her work in health, she has a strong interest in mind-body wellbeing and the connection between physical, mental and nervous-system health.

She is excited to be part of the GAS team and looks forward to sharing in and creating supportive, memorable and empowering outdoor experiences for others.

Sally is an Outdoor Educator and Disability Support Worker. She loves to spend time in wilderness areas, exploring new places and getting to know new people. What she enjoys most about the outdoors is going off the grid, challenging herself in new activities, appreciating nature and losing her sense of time.

Her hobbies include camping, surfing, hiking, snowboarding, making art and hanging out with friends. When Sally isn’t working you’ll find her at the beach, on a walking trail, tinkering in the shed or at a local gig.

Her qualifications include: Bachelor Degree in Outdoor Education, Certificate 4 in Outdoor Recreation, Community Surf Lifesaving, & Level 2 First Aid.
