We’ve enjoyed a walking tour of Edinburgh, a visit to Holyrood Palace, a cruise on Loch Ness and a view of the magnificent ruins of Urquhart Castle, a visit to Dunrobin Castle and grounds, a trip to John O’Groats to seek our Puffins,

Our Great Ocean Road to Gawler SA is almost over. It’s been a fabulous road trip and thoroughly recommend it.

We’ve visited some amazing sites including Apollo Bay, London Bridge, what’s left of the 12 Apostles, Bay of Martyrs, koalas in their own habitat, vineyards, lovely small towns and stayed in interesting accommodations from 3.5 stars to 5 stars and found some great cafes and eateries along the route.. We’ve eaten way too much but only drank in moderation😆😬.

Our driving trip along the Great Ocean Road to South Australia is going well. We started our tour from Lorne Vic with a one night stopover. We visited Apollo Bay, Cape Otway Lighthouse, what’s left of The 12 Apostles and London Bridge rock formations. Oh, London Bridge is still intact!

Warrnambool is our next stop for 2 nights.

The Grotto Palazzese is located in Mare, in Puglia. It is in a natural cave and is one of the most exclusive restaurants in Italy.

Continuing our Greek odyssey we visited Lycabettus Hill the highest point in Athens. We took the cable car on this visit although the walk to the cable is uphill with lots of steps. However the view does not disappoint.
