Mary Street in Gympie hosted Wheels on Mary on Thursday night. The street was lined with rally cars competing in this weekend’s Qld Rally Championships, and the many fans, young and old’er, who were so excited to see these revved up rally cars and their teams, before they compete through forestry roads north of Gympie and Imbil.
We’re enjoying hosting driver Ian and navigator Rob from car 42, Bespoke Engineering Rally Team, as they enjoy some luxury in between time trials, serious concentration of racing and navigation, and plenty of dust. We wish you a win 🥇 and enjoy the hospitality of Gympie and Home on Elizabeth 💛

All that’s needed for a beautiful day exploring at Rainbow Beach and Tin Can Bay is this bag. Beach towels and sunscreen and you’re good to go. The short bush walk to the stunning Carlo Sand Blow is a must, to take in the breathtaking views. Then finish the day with walking the beach at Inskip Point, as you watch the barge head over to K’Gari/Fraser Island, and the sun sink into the ocean, sealing the deal for one perfect day on the Cooloola Coast.
