HX EXPEDITIONS - ALASKA 🏔️
This incredible journey through Alaska’s Inside Passage has come to an end, and what an unforgettable adventure it has been.
The final days were definitely my favourite — expedition days exploring Icy Bay and College Fjord, surrounded by endless glaciers and mountains.
Our final port was Valdez, which quickly became my favourite stop. The epitome of an Alaskan town, nestled amongst towering mountains. To top it all off, I even took a plunge into the icy waters!!
I’m so grateful for the amazing expedition team onboard and all the knowledge, stories, and insight they shared throughout the journey. Alaska truly is a place like no other, and this trip is one I’ll never forget.

HX EXPEDITIONS - ALASKA 🦦🐻🗻🎣

Half way through this incredible voyage with . Starting in Vancouver, we have explored Misty Fjords in zodiacs, and visited the Towns of Klawock, Craig and the small community of Kake! Today has been spent in Icy Strait. Exploring by both Sea Kayak and Zodiacs. We have spotted lots of Sea otters, Sea lions and seals amongst other wildlife. The ship is beautiful with a focus around science and sustainability. She is a hybrid ship generating 20-30% less emissions! Excited to continue on this adventure, and tell you all about it when I am back.

🇨🇦🚞 ROCKY MOUNTAINEER
JOURNEY THROUGH THE CLOUDS
Jasper -> Kamloops -> Vancouver
The last two days have been spent on the beautiful Rocky Mountaineer in Gold Leaf service. Nearly 700 passengers on board, including 500 Aussies on this particular departure.
We have spotted lots of Bald Eagles and Ospreys. The cart is not only stunning but also very comfortable with heated, reclining seats and so much room. We have been filled to the top with SO much beautiful food (they never stop feeding you)! Food, Staff, views 11/10 !!!

After a big few days of travel (and a quick overnight at Calgary Airport), I’ve finally made it to Jasper!
The drive along the Icefields Parkway was nothing short of extraordinary, with highlights including Banff, Saskatchewan River Crossing, and the Columbia Icefield. I even got lucky enough to spot two black bears along the way! 🐻🐻
Arriving at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge was just as special — such a stunning property with incredible views, amazing amenities, and the most wonderful staff. I’ve genuinely had to pinch myself more than once since being here. Elk roaming freely around the grounds, plus a beautiful sound bath experience to unwind… just magical.
Now getting ready to board the Rocky Mountaineer 🚆 — and I can already say Canada has well and truly earned a place in my heart ❤️

Busy Few days I have had in Japan and South Korea. So much to see too little time . Transport by Bus over the last three days have been Interesting . Favorite so far the disco bus in South Korea . Dee

Konnichiwa from Hiroshima . What a heart crushing day. These people have suffered so much. The Atomic Bomb Memorial and museums are very heart wrenching to see. The suffering previously suffered by these people is very humbling. My love for Japanese people continues to grow. I will never forget my time here 💗 🇯🇵 Dee

Diamond Princess March 2026- Balcony Cabin - My home for the next couple of weeks as we embark on Southern Japan and South Korea Itinerary. First couple of days Sea Days great way to unwind after flying to Japan and get to see this ship- Plenty of Social area’s with us having no difficulties in finding table and chairs to sit at our already visited Bars and Lounge areas for our group of 4. Our cruise Director Hirachio is great . Plenty to do on the ship . Off to do a travel destination lecture on Hiroshima this morning then learning a Bon Odori Japanese Dance at lunch with some origami to end the day . Great John Lennon and Paul McCartney show last night with a comedian on board tonight . Oh Pics of our desert selections last night favourite meal of the day. No Prebooked dinner slot last night no problems rocked up to El Salvador got a table easily for us . Walk ins only at this venue and the blue lagoon your dinner a lot time has no availability plenty of options not to worry at all.

Good Morning From Dee in Japan. Flew with Singapore Airlines Brisbane to Haneda Airport. Flight was wonderful , Food & service . Singapore Airlines still giving socks and a toothbrush with toothpaste to make your flights as comfortable as possible. With Wifi available to purchase as well. Singapore Airport still living up its to its status of a living airport with Nature Driven elements through out all its terminals.
Haneda Airport showed to be a great access point for cruising in Japan being under a 30 minute taxi drive to the Hyatt Regency which Is a couple of blocks from the international cruise terminal. Only down point was entry to Japan. They are currently doing upgrades to there arrival process . With an arrival card now available pre entry or paper version available on arrival to the airport. Make sure you leave a little extra time for customs sign in when arriving to this beautiful country.
