Cuteness Overload! 🦢

Our beautiful black swans have welcomed some adorable new bundles of fluff to the lake! These fluffy little cygnets are already paddling alongside their proud parents and winning hearts wherever they go.

If you’re looking for the perfect day out, Lake Alford Recreational Park has it all - peaceful lakeside walks, birdwatching, picnic spots, a playground for the kids, and the Visitor Information Centre to help you discover even more of the region.

📸 Bring your camera and see if you can spot our newest residents, but remember to give them plenty of space as they settle into their new home.

Get ready for one of the region’s most iconic events, the Goomeri Pumpkin Festival! 🎃

Celebrating its 30th year, the festival is pulling out all the stops, including the return of the Great Australian Pumpkin Roll, with over $15,000 in prize money up for grabs.

From pumpkin olympics to street parades, markets and entertainment, it’s a full day of fun you won’t find anywhere else.

📅 It’s all happening in Goomeri on Sunday 31 May, with even more events taking place in the lead up.
