🌿 The Grampians (Gariwerd) is now home to Australia’s first National Centre for Environmental Art, part of the new Wama Foundation precinct in Halls Gap (Budja Budja).

This innovative precinct opens with its inaugural exhibition End & Being by renowned Western Australian artist Jacobus Capone. The exhibition explores themes of environmental change in line with the UN’s declaration of 2025 as the International Year of Glaciers’ Preservation.

The Gariwerd/Grampians Endemic Botanic Garden is another highlight, featuring over 500 plants and nearly 60 species, more than half of which are found only in this unique region. The garden plays a critical role in preserving the local biodiversity, ensuring the survival of vulnerable and endemic plant species.
