Jacqueline Dee is an Authorised Marriage Celebrant with boundless energy and a creative heart. Sydney born and raised, Jacqueline and her husband of 28 years moved to the Northern Illawarra to raise their two children in the close knit community of Helensburgh NSW, 24 years ago. With a background in both event management and travel and tourism, Jacqueline developed core organisational and communic

ation skills. Further studies led Jacqueline to a career shift and she entered the field of Family and Relationship Counselling in 2005, a role she continues in today. Jacqueline has had experience teaching Sexuality Education in Primary Schools, was a Senior Group Trainer and a Clinical Specialist in Trauma recovery. An area of speciality has been working with and delivering educational programs to Step-families. With a passion for music and writing and an eye for detail Jacqueline states ‘becoming a Celebrant just felt like a natural progression for me’, it’s a perfect fit! Family has been at the forefront of Jacqueline’s life she deeply values ceremony and ritual within our culture and society. Her professionalism, cheerfulness, good humour and optimism are a winning combination in her role as an Authorised Marriage Celebrant, specialising in Weddings and End Of Life Ceremonies.

As a funeral Celebrant, I'm immersed in stories of love and loss every week.. but this time it's my story and it's deeply personal and emotional. When you're in a role where people look to you for strength it's hard to allow yourself to be vulnerable, but our vulnerability is what makes us human and what brings us together. This chapter is going to be life changing, no question and I'm going to give myself permission to feel what I feel 💔
