Emu Gully Adventure Education Group

Emu Gully Adventure Education Group Where learning is found within the experience, and character is formed through challenge.

At Emu Gully, we believe adventure shapes character and deepens learning. Our activities are purpose-built for developing teamwork and leadership. COURAGE | MATESHIP | PERSEVERANCE | SACRIFICE

Emu Gully was founded in 1995 by Barry Rodgers OAM, an experienced educator with a passion for our national heritage and helping young people become all they can be. Emu Gully has established a reputation f

or delivering the highest quality leadership and team building programs. For many of our clients these have become crucial elements for enhancing culture, developing teamwork and training leaders. Now employing over 30 staff, and catering for over 15,000 participants each year, we host school groups, sporting and social groups and corporates from across Australia at our campus located near Toowoomba in Southeast Queensland. CHALLENGE | INSPIRE | EMPOWER

At Emu Gully we believe in young people and understand the significance of history. We shape great Australians by challenging the status quo, enlarging capacity, uniting groups and providing opportunities for enhanced personal and team performance. By focusing on the core national values of Courage, Mateship, Sacrifice and Perseverance, our programs provide a hands on history lesson that will shape the future. Our core values of Character, Respect, Walk the Talk, Safety and a Can Do Attitude are central to every aspect of our organisation. They enable us to challenge, inspire and empower every person attending to demonstrate character, by delivering quality adventure education programs with stories, values and shared experiences.

{A RECIPE FOR ADVENTURE}

Start with 46 eager students, add a generous helping of mud and teamwork, sprinkle in courage, mateship, sacrifice and perseverance…
Then stir it all together at Emu Gully!

On radio River 94.9 recently we ran a competition for one lucky school to 'Choose Their Own Emu Gully Adventure' for a day!

The awesome winners were Leichhardt State School and on Monday we got to welcome 46 students from grades 5&6 for a full day of fun and adventure.

“They got out of their comfort zone…..pushed limits that we haven’t seen from our students….they were amazing” - Teacher from Leichhardt State School

Character is our secret ingredient here at Emu Gully, and the students and staff at Leichhardt State School sure have plenty of it!
Thanks for coming!
