We operates in the West MacDonnell Range (Tjoritja) & also in Hermannsburg historical precinct.

My name is Benjamin Kenny (Benji), my skin name is Jakamara (Kamara) and my animal totem is Kngoilya (Wild Dogs) and I am a Western Arrernte man from Ntaria/Hermannsburg. I'm the owner/operator of Finke River Cultural Tours, I started this business in 2021 for the purpose of sharing my family's stories and culture of how we are connected to this beautiful land Rodna. I have worked in the cattle industry from 2005 to 2010, then worked with NT Parks and Wildlife from 2010 to 2013 and then as a Land management ranger for Central Land Council from 2013 to 2020 so I have experience in working and protecting land for 10 years as a land management worker.

This month for May has been a full on with 100% Finke River Culture & Adventures.
I have been working for 30 days straight with no breaks and have been enjoying the work that I am doing.

It is really good that my workers are having a great time out on the Larapinta track and learning from me of what I have to offer.

We look forward to June as we have more bookings.

Proud of my baby brother Jonah Mitchell for stepping up and taking the role as a tour guide and waking the 14kms of a section of the Larapinta trail.

100% Finke River Culture & Adventures training day.

Proud of my crew with completing 9kms of the Ormiston pound walk today. Before even starting the crew had pies and smoked before we even started the walk hahahah.

I have the best crew that I have and congratulations to everyone for sticking it out with me and doing all this with me.

Best day ever.

From the 1st of May until the 14th of May 100% Finke River Culture & Adventures hosted a group of girls group from Mentone girls Grammer from Melbourne who all enjoyed their time on Rodna and Ntaria.

Some of the activities that we done were:

Hermannsburg day
- Visit the Hermannsburg Historical Precinct
- visit the Hermannsburg Potters
- visited the Hermannsburg (Ntaria) School
- Visited the Rec Hall
Very big thanks to Finke River mission staff for sharing some of the history about the early missionaries.
A big shout out to Hermannsburg potters staff and Jane from Ntaria school for helping out and sharing some stories.

Also a big shout out to Billy McKenzie and Reggie Lankin for opening up the Rec Halls and to the Ntaria community kids for welcoming our visitors from Melbourne.

Rodna day
Is all about culture and doing 9km walk and the reward was swimming at the end of achieving 9kms walk.

Look forward to more groups comming out this year.

What an amazing afternoon today with Kings Narrative who brought young mens from Groote Eylandt and unexpectedly got to meet my families who were out at Rodna already.

Also good to see Tjuwanpa Mens Rangers from CLC and Tjuwanpa women rangers who got involved in welcoming the crew to Rodna.
