How exciting! A white whale has been filmed off K’gari (Fraser Island) travelling North. It was fending off a shark with a big peduncle slap. please share as far and wide as possible! We’d love to see more footage of this wonderful white whale! We hope it calls in for a holiday in Hervey Bay on its way back South!

We were surprised to learn that humpback whales can give birth in colder waters. The calves are born without blubber so warmer waters would be far safer for them. As the population grows, there will be more variation in patterns. Let's hope these surprise babies continue to thrive! Read more here...

Whales sighted off Lady Elliot Island Eco Resort!
