It’s powerful seeing more Blak businesses rising across Western Victoria, our people creating their own pathways, their own spaces, setting the standard.

For too long, culture had to fight for room in places it always belonged. Now, mob like Malkar Cultural Services are showing what self-determination looks like in action, building something from the ground up and keeping our stories strong where they were once silenced.

Proud to see you doing it, brother. Every new Blak business that steps forward makes the ground a little softer for the next one.

What a week was last week! 👍🏾

Brighton Grammar School has (for 3 years now) visited Gunditjmara Country for the program called “Breakout”.

I’m proud of the relationship the school and BSCT shares, and am so grateful to be an avenue of learning through collaboration with my community!
