The 2026/27 Kangaroo Island season is off to a cracking start. Just look at that blue sky! ☀️

Over the last month we have taken dozens of people from all over the world, Denmark, Japan, Germany, UK, Canada, Israel, China, New Zealand the USA and Australia to name just a few.

The weather and wildlife have been on their best behaviour, and the feedback is off the charts.

We couldn’t be more excited about the season ahead.

What a way to kick off our Kangaroo Island season.

Last week we hosted a group of travel agents on our 2 Day Kangaroo Island Wildlife Adventure, with my brother James taking the group over and guiding them around the island.

The big boss showcased the Barossa with this group a few days earlier.

We absolutely love famils like this.

For agents, there is nothing better than actually experiencing the product for yourself. It is so much easier to sell something when you know it, understand it and have seen first hand what your clients are going to experience.

For us, it is just as valuable. We get to spend proper time with our trade partners, talk through the product, hear their feedback and show them exactly what makes our tours and Kangaroo Island so special.

🎉IT’S OUR 29TH BIRTHDAY… BUT YOU GET THE PRESENTS! 🍇

Back in 1997, Dallas started Groovy Grape Adventures with a bus, a big idea and a love of showing people around his home, South Australia.

Fast forward 29 years and Groovy has taken tens of thousands of travellers on the road, employed a whole lot of colourful characters, made plenty of lifelong friendships and collected more stories than we could ever fit into one post.

So, this year, we’re celebrating properly.

Across October, November and December we’ll be sharing giveaways, Groovy merch, old photos, throwbacks, stories from past passengers and staff, and plenty of memories from the last 29 years.

And this one is also a bit of a practice run…

Because in 2027, Groovy turns 30. And Dallas has decided that calls for a proper reunion.

Past staff, current crew, past passengers… we want to bring the Groovy family back together and celebrate three decades of adventures.

There’ll be plenty more on that to come.

For now, keep an eye on our socials, dig out your old Groovy photos and get ready to celebrate 29 years with us.

No matter how big the company is, it’s the people that are important.

Margaret & Chris at the Discovery Parks & Resorts on Kangaroo Island are the exact reason the G'day Group /Discovery Parks are dominating in their space. They are incredible!!

Nikki & myself have been putting the finishing touches to our Groovy Camp for the Groovy Grape Adventures 2 Day Kangaroo Island Wildlife Adventure for the 26-27 season. We are so excited to once again collaborate with the team at Discovery Parks for this incredible 2 day tour. This collaboration allows us to provide our exclusive Bell Tent accommodation and also the Parks Motel units with bathrooms. For the extra adventurous we also have the option of a swag underneath the stars. ⭐️

Taking the SeaLink Kangaroo Island Ferry over, it’s not a big stretch to say Nikki & myself took an overseas cruise to a picture perfect island for a few days!!!
