One of the best parts of small-group touring is everyone pitching in. With a few hands helping to prepare dinner, it all comes together quickly - and somehow tastes even better when you’ve helped make it!

That’s the beauty of an Aussie BBQ: good food, a bit of teamwork and everyone coming together around the table.

One of our first stops after arriving on Kangaroo Island is the climb up Prospect Hill - all 500 steps up it!

The panoramic views from the top are well worth the effort and give you a real sense of just how vast Kangaroo Island actually is.

Groovy Grape Adventures is looking for casual guides to join the crew.

We’re after people who can bring a group together, make travellers feel welcome and turn a bus full of strangers into mates by the end of a trip.

You could be working anything from a Barossa day out to one of our multi-day adventures, with flexible work from 1–5 days per week.

The important bits:

LR licence or higher ✔️
Passenger Accreditation ✔️
Good with people ✔️
Safe driver ✔️
Experience preferred, but not essential ✔️

At night, we often hear koalas in the trees from our bell tents, making their very strange grunting noises. They definitely don’t sound nearly as cute as they look!
