🔥 Dark M**o returns to Hobart from 11–22 June 2026, bringing its iconic winter solstice celebrations back to the waterfront and city streets.

With events taking place across Hobart, a number of road closures will be in place throughout the festival period. Below are the major closures impacting TasPorts properties and waterfront users:

Southbound closure of Morrison Street between Brooke Street and Murray Street.
• 6pm–12am, 11–12 + 18–19 June
• 3pm–12am, 13–14 + 20–21 June

Full road closure of Franklin Wharf and Hunter Street between Elizabeth Street and MAC 02.
• 6pm–11pm, 11–12 + 18–19 June
• 4pm–11pm, 13–14 + 20–21 June

Additional smaller road closures will also be in place throughout the festival period.

There will be a few road closures throughout Nipaluna/Hobart's CBD and waterfront over the next fortnight for Dark M**o 2026. Prepare for possible congestion and delays, or make use of Hobart's free Metro service throughout the festival.
