Our half day, full day and multi-day trips along with our sea kayak training courses are the perfect way to explore Tasmania’s wild places! Our team is immensely proud to have been recognised as Australia's Best Adventure Tourism operators at the 2019 national awards, adding to a number of state tourism awards. Our half day, full day and multi-day kayaking tours, as well as instructional lessons,

cater for all experience levels and timeframes. Our safety record’s impeccable too! Adventure with us on a premium sea-kayaking eco-tour into the spectacular Bathurst Harbour and Port Davey in Tasmania's Wilderness World Heritage Area. This is a sea-kayaker's paradise, with a combination of sheltered wilderness harbours, rugged ocean coastlines, remote islands and wild rivers. On Flinders Island we paddle to offshore islands and into secluded coves, slipping quietly between beautiful orange granite boulders. The water is so clear that you'll see sand ripples, swaying kelp and fish in abundance. Closer to Hobart the popular day tours explore the dramatic coastlines of the Tasman and Tinderbox peninsulas, kayaking among sea cliffs, sea caves, shipwrecks and wildlife. For a different perspective on Hobart's vibrant waterfront, join us on a 2.5-hour paddle and weave among the yachts, tall ships, fishing boats and cruise ships of this beautiful harbour then tuck into a snack of fish and chips whilst still afloat.

What a day for a paddle! We were lucky enough to get through the gap to the Totem Pole out at the Tasman today, enjoying the epic cliffs and playful seals 🦭😎 As such, we thought it was worth an extra large photo dump today 👌Thanks for a great day everybody, Mischa and Mike

Thanks to this crew of legends for a beautiful and calm day exploring Fortescue bay. There was a bit of lumpiness from the residual swell, but the calm winds made for a lovely relaxed day of kayaking and sightseeing.

Thanks for bringing the weather and hope to see you back for another paddle one day! 😎☀️🌊

Cheers, Kane 🤙

What a dreamy day to explore Cape Hauy and Fortescue Bay!

We paddle along the gently lapping coastline, watching the Bull Kelp sway beneath us.

White Bellied Sea Eagles watched us weave between the Sea Jellies from their vantage point above.

Albatross soared low over the water as we shot the gap between the Lanterns.

Thank you for a wonderful day!

It was a real hoot seeing out our Flinders season this year with a mornings kayaking session for local students.

We set off from Lillies Beach through some hefty sea grass mounds from a recent southerly blow, paddled over turquoise water, did some skills and technique refining (and mandatory water fights) before making our way back. I think we all thought we were just warming up!

We hope it gave you another perspective on your beautiful Home.

An absolute pleasure to meet everyone and a big shout out to the incredible team at Flinders Council , especially Megan Boyes for helping organise today.

Also to Hannah for connecting us and creating an awesome opportunity for students to get out padding in their backyard.

We look forward to next year!

FLINDERS

Last Flinders of the season and what a hoot!

Calm days exploring granite up close, swims in the backyard mermaid pool and a windy day sail (reaching 9km an hour!).

We fossicked for diamonds, walked up Killiecrankie, visited the museum, received a Thai massage from a local masseuse, ate fresh seafood and a couple guests even got involved in the Flinders Island Park run.

And of course visited Wybalena and Cate’s place for another exceptional Paddock to Plate dinner.

Shoutout to Tristan for achieving a personal best and doing 174 chin-ups on Stackeys Bight

Exploring the amazing Tasman Peninsula/ Tukana with some of our most loyal guests this week has been such a delightful way to wrap up our multi-day kayak season!

The wildlife was highly abundant everywhere we looked: in/ under the water, on the shore, on the land and in the sky. We travelled around by kayak and foot, coasting along the sheltered waters to the north and west, and getting out into some more wild and exposed places on the east and south, we truly experienced such diversity in environments.

The paddling was stunning with a few caves to explore and many large dolerite cliffs, we are in awe of this incredible place and we loved to continuous flow of intriguing conversations about the local environments and history, both natural and man made.

Some of the animals that were of keen interest were the many Sea Eagles, Albatross, a plethora of Rays, a Shark, a Dolfin, Seals, many fishes, Echidnas, and a Collared Sparrowhawk, and a rouge beach wandering Possum, just to name a few!

Fabulous Flinders really turned it on for us last week. Ideal paddling conditions on every leg and what a terrific group to share it with: keen for adventure, swapping stories and always having a good old laugh. Plenty of pareidolia too, spotting remarkable faces and animals in the beautiful rock formations. Loads of actual wildlife came out to say hi too… dolphins, a couple of very leisurely seals, wallabies, wombats, echidina, eagles and more.
Till next we meet at Empty Belly Bay.
Happy paddling.
Mike & Tristan 😄🤩🐬🦭
