Thank you to the Simply Sourdough Class of May 2023!
You were absolutely fantastic and I couldn't have wished for a friendlier group of people to get back into teaching bread baking the simple way. It was an icy cold day, and we even had snow at home on the farm when I got home. We lost power and warmed up the soup on the woodfire stove, baked a delicious loaf of bread and had plenty of laughs.
I would love to see more photos of the bread you have baked and please reach out with any questions you might have.
Thank you - you were awesome!

How to prepare your new banneton.

Step 1: Spray the banneton with water
Step 2: Coat the inside with flour

Flour will prevent the dough from sticking to the basket and protect the banneton from getting mouldy. It is also a good idea to do this even you use liner cloth.
