Love reading our happy customers’ reviews

Alyssa joined us over the weekend and left this beautiful review:
“The Woebegone crew was absolutely wonderful! Dylan, Em, and Jo were so kind and welcoming, and genuinely thoughtful. The entire trip was amazing — the crew took us to the best spots with excellent knowledge and commentary. The complimentary snacks and drinks were delicious and incredibly generous as well! Thank you so much for the hospitality, will definitely be coming back to dive with you soon 🤍”
Double scuba boat charters are running every weekend through winter, making the most of our crisp blue water and abundant marine life — including our cheeky seals.

Have a group keen to dive? We can open up midweek dates too.

10 Seconds to convince you to join our ocean chaos this coming long weekend, and what a packed one it is! ⬇️

FRIDAY: BOAT NIGHT DIVE 🌠
This is a boat trip out in the bay as the sun goes down for both SCUBA DIVERS & FREEDIVERS / SNORKELLERS. A dive site looks completely different at night, see sparkly bioluminescence and the most interesting sea creatures as they become active after the sun goes down ✨🌅

SUNDAY & MONDAY: DOUBLE SCUBA DIVE CHARTER 🦭🐠
Two tanks, two beautiful sites - explore Jervis Bay Marine Park off our trusty vessel the Woebe-Two! ⚓️
The Great Southern Reef boasts the most unique wildlife, from weedy sea dragons, grey nurse sharks, blue groupers, rays, fur seals and so much more. Did you know this 8,000 km long Reef system produces around a third of the oxygen we breath?

WHALE SEASON! 🐋
The long weekend we start our whale swim season yipppeee!🕺 for 5+ hours we head offshore on the Woebe-Wan and enjoy a day of watching these marvellous mammals up close and on the whales terms. Our crew read these whales behaviour and when the time is right, in the water we go and wait for these curious creatures to come to us, naturally and respectfully… jump on quick, these spots fill up fast! Whales swims run from June - October 🐳

SUNDAY: COMMUNITY BEACH CLEAN 10am 💚
📍STEAMERS BEACH
A fun way to come together and clean one of our local beaches that we love - all of the rubbish data that we collect is submitted to the Australian Marine Debris Initiative and they use this data for solutions to stop rubbish flow into our oceans.

We’d love you to join us for a wild water experience this Long Weekend 🪼☀️

Hi everyone from Leon and Lara! We wanted to put a video together to share with you all our favourite reef-safe sunscreens that we use everyday ☀️

has become our everyday go-to for sun protection 💛 Our favourite thing about it? It’s reef safe which means it’s made without harmful chemicals that can damage marine ecosystems, something we’re really mindful of when choosing products.

And of course, we have to give big love to 🤍 Our favourite zinc for that natural, healthy glow while still feeling lightweight and gentle on the skin 🤩

We love using products that are not only nourishing and perfect for daily wear, but also kinder to our skin and the planet ✨

WE NEED YOU OUT FOR THE COUNT THIS JUNE!

ORRCA’S 27TH ANNUAL WHALE CENSUS IS HAPPENING ON SUNDAY 28TH JUNE, AND YOU’RE INVITED TO BE PART OF THE MAGIC.

Join us for a spectacular day by the ocean as we count the majestic humpback whales on their northern migration. It’s a chance to connect with nature, contribute to conservation and celebrate these incredible ocean travellers.

The ORRCA Whale Census Day now has two ways to get involved:

OPTION 1 – ABUNDANCE COUNT BETWEEN 10AM - 12PM
Join one of our designated “core” survey sites between 10am-12pm along the coastline for a coordinated 2-hour whale count. These locations have been carefully selected to help estimate how many whales are migrating past during the survey period. Each site will be hosted by an ORRCA member.

OPTION 2 – PASSAGE COUNT
Take part in our traditional sunrise-to-sunset whale count from a location of your choice. Participants will record whale sightings throughout the day, including behaviours, weather and ocean conditions, and details about whale groups.

WHEN: SUNDAY 28 JUNE, 2026
WHERE: YOUR CLOSEST HEADLAND, OR OFFICIAL ORRCA CENSUS SITE
WHO: ONE AND ALL
FROM: SUNRISE TO SUNSET
It’s a great day out for all. Simply pick a favourite headland, which option you’d like to participate in, and register for this event to log your location. We will email you our Census Day kit one week prior to the event, which contains a sighting fact sheet and how to access our Data Collection App to log your sightings on the day.

Swim with Whales in Jervis Bay 🐋

Humpback whales, up close and personal in Jervis Bay Marine Park.
Eye contact in deep blue water.
Songs through the hydrophone.
Wild encounters that happen on the whale’s terms, led by locals who know how to read these waters.

Some things you have to see to believe. This is one!

Every year from May to November, tens of thousands of humpback whales pass through the waters off Jervis Bay on one of the longest migrations on Earth.

For a few extraordinary hours between June and the end of October, you can be in the water with them.
