MONTHLY BEACH CLEAN UP — THIS SUNDAY!

This Sunday 6th September also happens to be Father’s Day so why not start the day doing something good for our beautiful Jervis Bay?

📍 10am- Meeting at Plantation Point, near the toilet blocks
We’ll spread out along the coastline and spend one hour cleaning up, before coming back together to sort what we’ve collected and record the data.

LEARN TO SCUBA DIVE

Our next Open Water Scuba Course starts 4th September — and it just happens to be seal season here in Jervis Bay!

Imagine learning to scuba dive, taking your first breaths underwater, building your confidence and then having the chance to share the ocean with our playful local seals.

Over three days, we’ll take you from complete beginner to certified Open Water scuba diver, with pool, shore and boat diving along the way.
No previous scuba experience needed — just a love for the ocean and a willingness to give it a go!

🦈 SPRING SCHOOL HOLIDAY KIDS SNORKELLING WORKSHOPS - JERVIS BAY 🐙

Two hours of exploring, learning and getting to know the incredible underwater world in Jervis Bay!

Each session starts with a land based lesson where kids learn about snorkelling gear, ocean safety and the fascinating ecosystems of the Great Southern Reef, before heading into the water for a guided snorkel.

Each week, we’ll dive into a different marine life topic! 👇

🦈 29 & 30 September: Port Jackson Sharks
Meet the Port Jackson shark, one of Jervis Bay’s most recognisable reef residents. Learn how these quirky sharks find food, navigate rocky reefs and why these unique bottom-dwellers are such an important part of Jervis Bay’s underwater world.

🐙 6 & 7 October: Gloomy Octopus
Meet the Gloomy octopus, a clever master of disguise that can change colour and texture to blend into its surroundings. Discover how they explore their rocky homes and hunt for food using their eight curious arms.

With experienced instructors guiding every step, kids will:

✔️ Learn essential snorkelling & water safety skills
✔️ Explore the ocean in a calm, supervised environment
✔️ Discover unique marine species of the Great Southern Reef
✔️ Build confidence in the water
