Hi all, just letting everyone know we talked to the Health Department and things are ALL GO for our Annual New Years Day event with a few extra precautions. We've limited our capacity to 500 - being outdoors masks are not mandatory but are recommended and we need to stay seated picnic style on the grass under the trees to eat and drink. You can heckle the bands and express joy but dancing is only allowed on the inside as per the current rules. Looking forward to being together to start the year albeit in a more picnicky way than usual. There is nothing better than discovering a hidden gem in the middle of nowhere on a roadtrip! Well, the Wave Rock Resort, Lake Magic, Hyden, Wa is definitely that! Lake Magic, a man-made salt lake, is said to be more saltier than the Dead Sea 😮.

After a day hiking around Wave Rock or the region's many rock formations, and walking trails, lay back, take a load off and just float! perfect on a hot day. Make sure Hyden is on your next road trip itinerary. Have you swam here? Share your pics!

Here is the stacked image with all fireballs captured by the Hyden camera system during time when the moon is below horizon. It is a combination of more than 100 fireball images recorded between 2016 and 2020 . These images are just a small number of approximately 1.5 million total images captured by the instrument during the period.
'DFNSMALL23' in Hyden is actually our most reliable camera system, which has taken 2,140,614 photos to the date!
