Just touching base again about my Vietnam & Singapore Group Tour for February 2027!

I'm so excited about this one and have loved seeing the interest coming through already.

One thing I really wanted for this tour was to keep it small and personal. This is a private group tour, so we're not joining any other tour companies or large coach tours – it'll be just us.

Over 15 days, we'll experience the highlights of Singapore and Vietnam, stay in beautiful 4.5–5⭐ accommodation, enjoy some amazing experiences, and still have plenty of time to relax, explore, shop, and do your own thing.

If you've been sitting on the fence, now is the perfect time to get your name down. There is absolutely no commitment to do so, but I do need expressions of interest before 30 June.

And just like that, Jody and Bruno's month-long adventure has come to an end.

From Singapore to the stunning towns and cities of Italy, this trip was packed with unforgettable experiences, breathtaking scenery and plenty of memories.

One of the most special moments was visiting Bruno's parents' hometowns near Sicily and Venice, and meeting relatives along the way. Those family connections and stories are something truly priceless.

Thank you, Jody and Bruno, for allowing me to be part of your journey. It has been wonderful following along and seeing the memories you've created. 🇮🇹✈️

With Toy Story 5 on the way, I’m suddenly thinking about how ridiculously fun the Toy Story Hotel at Tokyo Disney Resort actually was.

Before we went to Japan, one thing we made sure to teach the girls was what to do if we ever got separated on a train 🚆

Japan’s train system is incredible, but stations can be crowded, trains arrive quickly, and people move fast. It made us realise we needed a simple plan in place, just in case.

So before we started catching trains everywhere, we taught them this:

➡️ If Mum/Dad gets on the train and they don’t: • Stay exactly where they are • Stand against the closest wall or pillar • Do not move • Wait for Mum to come back

➡️ If they get on the train and Mum/Dad doesn’t: • Get off at the very next station • Walk a few steps straight ahead • Stand there and wait

No running around. No trying to “find” each other. No panic.

Thankfully, we’ve never had to use it, but having a simple plan in place made travelling through busy stations feel so much less stressful.

It’s one of those things you don’t really think about until you’re standing in the middle of Shinjuku Station wondering how people even move that fast 😅

Travelling with kids isn’t about expecting things to go wrong — it’s about being prepared just in case.

This method can be used anywhere in the world.
