📣 Big news from Bear Street! Bluette has new owners ...... and they’re as sweet as the cakes they will be baking! 🍰💙

Join us in giving a warm Inverloch welcome to Ellie and Amir, the passionate new owners of much-loved Bluette Café. You will also see some familiar faces with the team they have helping out .

After falling in love with Inverloch during a weekend visit, this dynamic duo made the sea change from the city to embrace community life. Ellie, a CRT Maths & Science teacher with a background in hospitality, and Amir, a pharmacist, are excited to swap hustle for heart; and Bluette is their new happy place. 💙

🎉🧊🟩🟥 SPEED CUBING ACTION IN INVERLOCH! 🟦🟨🧊🎉

Inverloch was buzzing over the weekend as over 65 competitors from VIC, QLD, and some representing Japan, China & Indonesia 🛫 brought their solve speeds to the second official Speed Cubing Australia Tournament in town!

The Community Hub was alive with the click-clack of cubes, cheers, colour and community vibes as cubers of all ages showed off incredible skill across two jam-packed days. 🤩🧊

🔥 Highlights included:

🇦🇺 Australian Record broken! Kyle Jones from QLD smashed the CLOCK event in just 1.99 seconds!

🇮🇩 Firstian Fushada (Indonesian record holder) dominated the 3x3 and podiumed across multiple events.

🧠 Local legends like Emmet Hobbs, Michael Tripodi, and our very own Inverloch Cubing Club stars Harvey, Mia, Reef, Jarrah & Oliver all took home new Personal Bests! 💥

A huge shoutout to the volunteers, organisers & support team who made it all happen — especially our friends at the Inverloch Visitor Centre and the Inverloch Tourism Association 🙌

💬 One competitor summed it up perfectly:
“What do we have to do to make sure we’re invited back next year?” 😍

ANZAC DAY COMMERATIONS IN INVERLOCH
Shared by Inverloch RSL

Community members are cordially invited to pay their respects to all past and present ADF members on ANZAC Day.

DAWN SERVICE - 6AM AT THE RSL HALL, BOLDING PLACE.
The service will pay repect to all Veterans and their families, with special recognition of Inverloch residents who were engaged in active service during WW1.
RSL members are invited to attend gunfire breakfast following the event.
It is always a well attended and moving tribute.

VETERANS MARCH AND MOTORCADE @ 10.45AM from the Cenotaph, including a flyover by an historic RAAF WINJEEL aircraft, followed by

COMMEMORATION AND WREATH LAYING CEREMONY @ 11AM.

Among the highlights of the ceremony will be:
Guest Speaker - Newhaven School Captain, Gabriel Di Falco
In Flanders Field - recited by Bass Coast College representatives Rebecca Barclay and Jenson Brenner
Sentry Party
Flag Bearers -1st Inverloch Scout Group
Wreath Laying - multiple groups and individuals
Ode, Last Post, Rouse.
Australian and New Zealand National Anthems.

All are invited back to the RSL Hall at the completion of the service for light refreshments. The bar will also be open.

One of the highlights of the day will be the inaugural public display of a selection of commerative posters at the Cenotaph and the RSL Hall. The posters commemorate the Australian - New Zealand Cooperation in Warfare and Humanitarian Operations (1899 - 2025)

The posters, one of which is presented below, have been researched, written and designed by local RSL members.

Please come along to participate in these respectful and unifying events on ANZAC Day.
