Understanding Snow & Avalanches with Kyle Boys

Join Kyle Boys from Blizzard Academy at The General, Mt Hotham, at 12:30pm Saturday 29 August as part of the Australian Backcountry Festival.

Kyle will cover how snow and the snowpack evolve, what creates avalanche hazards, and how to make better decisions in the mountains.

Kyle has 10 years’ experience guiding and teaching in the mountains, including guiding in Australia, Canada and Japan, as well as exploring the backcountry across New Zealand, Europe and Alaska.
