Pretty solid day at school!

Recently we joined students from Snowy Mountains Grammar School for an AST 1, taking avalanche education out of the classroom and into the mountains.

Terrain, snowpack, rescue skills and decision making, all learnt where it actually matters.

Time in the mountains is always an opportunity to learn.

Building experience, understanding conditions and making good decisions are all part of moving through the alpine. They’re also values we share with Mountain Safety Collective - who we’re proud to support.

A shared commitment to education, awareness and a safer backcountry community.
