Well Just like that we Got a surprise dusting of snow in the lower alpine areas snow in Jindabyne & snow down as far as Cooma unfortunately no flying today although it's nothing to be upset about enjoy the beauty people !!!!

Blue Lake is definitely a passenger favourite and today we got to see it in a state that it is for only part of the year.

The surface of the lake is frozen for about four months of the year, it overflows in spring with the melting of the snow

At an elevation of 6200ft the best way to come experience its glory is on one of our Scenic Flights🚁.

Flying into venues like the always results in not only our passengers having an incredible lunch package experience, but also in a lot of budding young aviators coming to ask us all about the aircraft! On Sunday, our pilot showed several families the Robinson R44 helicopter, with numerous kids being in awe of the helicopter. Including these two siblings hailing from USA who were mesmerised by the helicopter! 🚁

Blue Lake ~ 40 acres in area, and 92ft in depth, and sitting at 6200ft elevation, Blue Lake is one of only four cirque lakes in Australia. A cirque lake is formed by glacial erosion!
Blue Lake is a spectacular sight, especially from our aerial perspective 🚁
