Found on the popular Kitty’s Gorge hiking trail. Gooralong Falls is best reached from the Jarrahdale end of the track (it’s 7km one way to Serpentine Falls
National Park), and it's well worth the trek!

💦 LAKE LOOP | Lake Leschenaultia
Lake Lesch is OVERFLOWING, so NOW is the time to visit this Perth Hills spot for a bushwalk! Just 15 minutes' drive from Mundaring, Lake Leschenaultia is a lovely spot for a nature adventure. As well as the lake overflowing, a sight that doesn't happen every year, there are tons of discoveries to be made on the 3km lake loop trail.

Find the old miniature railway station, wildflowers, wildlife and quiet places to relax. The flat track makes for an easy bike ride too. Plus, there is a 12km mountain bike network. Here’s our quick guide 👉
📍 Rosedale Road, Chidlow.
📏Distance: 3km loop.
📈Grade: easy, flat for all ages and abilities.
⏰Completion time: About 1 hour (walking)
🗓 Best Time: Year round
💲Cost: Free.

This inclusive event invites everyone to experience Perth’s most impressive waterfall on a gentle, beginner-friendly guided hike with Off The Beaten Track WA. Participants will follow the tranquil Lesmurdie Brook, surrounded by lush bushland and wildflowers, all the way to the stunning falls to enjoy morning tea.

The hike is designed to be accessible for all, including those with cognitive or sensory needs, low hearing or vision, and allergies or intolerances.

MACORA WALK TRAIL | Byford Hills
In the local Noongar language, Macora means "wet season" and this rocky trail is perfect to discover after heavy winter rains. Also known as the Byford Hills Walk Trail, there are challenging slopes which are rewarded with a beautiful view. Macora Falls flowing over the 400-million-year-old rocky outcrops is a stunning sight!

Dogs are welcome on this trail, and its short length makes it a great spot for the kiddos to explore too. Here’s our quick guide 👇
