We become the woman our younger self needed. This is how I found her…

I am self-obsessed.
Not in the ego way people assume but in the disciplined way. I prioritise my health, my goals, my fulfilment. I’ve learned I can’t pour from depletion to help others, no matter how much I try.

I protect my energy.
Burnout doesn’t just cost me… it costs everyone around me. So I choose boundaries, I choose a small circle, I choose peace over constant access.

I train to be better.
I grew up dreaming of being an Olympic triple jumper, and that athlete mindset never left. I still train like I’m becoming something bigger than I was yesterday.

I have my own back.
No one is coming to do it for me. No one can hold my vision the way I do. No one can want it more than I do. So I stopped waiting for belief and became it.

Personal development is not a linear journey and it’s a lifelong progression. Normalising that ups and down are inevitable will help you to become familiar with the discomfort of change.

It’s important to choose your struggle. The struggle of feeling burnt out and exhausted or the struggle to make the changes that will allow you to grow🌿

I am so grateful for the position that I am in but there have been chapters in my journey that have been beyond challenging. Times when my family and friends are the only reason I kept going and kept showing up to build a life that only existed on a vision board and in my journal.

Those silent battles behind the scenes are what build our resilience and mental fortitude. If it’s not for the moments that challenge us so deeply we will never grow.

Our reality is a result of the decisions we make. It’s a harsh truth but it takes challenging times for us to make better decisions for our future.

I choose positivity through every season because the sun will always rise again. It’s definitely an active choice that at times is hard to find but your mindset and ability to see the best in every circumstance will save you so much stress in the long term.

Building something worthwhile is never easy. It takes hard work and commitment. But it’s the journey that often matters much more then the destination✨

A study says the average person thinks they could survive 16 days in the wild…
The truth is, most wouldn’t last 24 hours.

Survival isn’t about confidence… it’s about competence.
It’s about knowing what to do before things go wrong and having the skills to respond when they do.

Here’s what most people forget:

1. Water is a big priority
Without it, your body starts shutting down in just a few days.
Can you locate, collect, and purify water without modern tools?

2. Fire is more than comfort
It’s protection. Warmth. The difference between cooked and raw.
Can you start a fire with nothing but what’s in your pack, or with what’s around you?

3. Shelter keeps you alive
Cold, heat, and exposure will strip your energy faster than hunger.
Do you know how to build something solid with the resources at hand?

4. Food is fuel, but it’s not the first thing.
Are you able to forage, fish, or trap if needed?
Do you know what’s safe to eat and what’s deadly?

5. Your mind is your most powerful tool
The calmest person often survives the longest.
Mental resilience is just as critical as physical strength.

The bush doesn’t care who you are or what you’ve done..
It listens to instinct, preparation, and respect.

I share these skills because everyone deserves to feel confident in the wild. Not just to survive but to understand how capable you really are🌿

Save this for later🦘

Practising survival skills but let’s make it into a practise you are inspired by✨

1. We are decorating our shelters.
Bones, feathers, herbs hanging, let it be your home away from home.

2. Take time to build your fire.
She is your emotional support flame… brew your tea, cook your meals, put in the effort to make your fires a source of comfort.

3. Learn herbal medicine.
Anyone can boil water but you’re going to be frolicking through the woods making medicinal teas.

4. Learn the plants around you.
Nothing will bring you closer to nature than knowing the edible, medicinal and useful benefits of the plants you walk amongst.

5. Learn a craft
You’re going to have some spare time so now is your moment to work on your crochet or weaving project.

6. You’re outfit is a reflection of you
No there isn’t a dress code for the bush. While an old military survival book stated that we all must wear a certain colour we do have free will and I will be using that free will for cute outfits.

7. Learn the animal calls
Listening to all the noises at night will become a source of comfort once you understand who is making all that noise.

8. Learn astronomy
There’s nothing more romantic than watching the stars and learning the constellations.

Share this with someone who needs more whimsy in their next adventure🌿

Sometimes you have to just go for it🌿

Completing my 21 day challenge in Botswana was such a special moment and has truly been catalyst for growth in every aspect of my life.

I wanted to pull out of the challenge before I even started because I didn’t think I was strong enough but you don’t know your capability until given the opportunity to test yourself.

An opportunity I am so glad I was brave enough to take on and no matter what your dream is in life sometimes you need to have a go before you think you’re ready✨

If you have been feeling the call to travel let this be your sign✨I’ll be hosting a group trip to Thailand for all thing...

If you have been feeling the call to travel let this be your sign✨

I’ll be hosting a group trip to Thailand for all things in the rainforest adventure realm. Immersed in the Karen village deep in the forest we will be spending our time at an ethical elephant sanctuary to watch them in their natural habitat.

We will of course be learning to cook local dishes, weave baskets and more about the customs and traditions of the locals living in the Karen villagešŸ‡¹šŸ‡

Everyone should attend a survival camp at least once if they can to learn the fundamentals but if your about to head out here is what you need to know🌿

1. Where clothes you’re comfortable in.
If your ever going to need these skills it will probably be in your everyday clothing. Where something old and no you don’t need to camouflage.

2. Invest in your gear.
My machete is over 80 years old and has been motified for bushcraft. Get the gear that will outlast you.

3. When you learn a new skill practise it right away.
When I first learn skills I will go off in the bush alone and keep practising until I felt like I had it down and this becomes part of my learning process. Find the method that helps you learn.

4. Bring a notebook
This is one thing you should buy because you’ll be taking lots of notes.

5. Come with questions.
Those hypotheticals and ā€œwhat ifsā€ you’ve always wondered about. Here’s your opportunity to ask a survival professional

6. Be prepared to fail.
In survival you will fail more times then you succeed and that especially true for the start of your journey. Some skills you will pick up quickly so be prepared to be patient while your learning something new

Attending your first survival camp is an exciting adventure, you’ll meet amazing people and walk away with a renewed sense of capability and confidence in your self reliance🦘

Here’s how I make the practise spear heads for my survival school spears✨

Throwback to my very first solo camping trip from three years ago🦘

This was around the time I first started making content and never actually posted this video.

I’ve come along way with my skillset but if it wasn’t for these little trips along the way I never would have improved🌿
